Macro Krispies

Shopping List:

  • 1/2 cup almond butter (peanut, cashew or pecan butter will work also)
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 cup Rice crisp cereal (I used Trader Joe's but you can use Natures Path or whatever you please)
  • 3 Tb Brown Rice Syrup
  • 1/3 cup dark chocolate or cacao nibs
  • 3 Tb Almond Milk (Rice or hemp works also)

Procedure:

Place the nut butter, brown rice syrup, vanilla and non dairy milk into a small pot. Allow this mix to come together, while stirring, on low heat. Keep on eye on it!

Place the cereal and chocolate into a mixing bowl. 

Once the butter mix has come together, pour the mixture over the crisps and stir. 

Now, you may wet your hands and roll this mix into balls, or you can lightly grease and baking dish and pour the mix evenly across it. When it cools, you can cut and enjoy. Remember, these will be chewy and creamy with a slight bit of crunch.
