Plumcots and apriplums are first-generation hybrids between a plum and apricot. .There are over 40 different hybrid mixers within the plum and apricot family. At the Sunflower Market in Boulder Co, I found a some that are intensely sweet. The flavors can be used for both plum and apricot recipes. Take Aunt Mays Peach cobbler and use these Plumcots instead!!

are the Asian shitakes? Odd right? Most people use the “American” shitakes and are super tasty. They give it an earthiness and wild mushroom taste. The Asian shitakes on the other hand, have a similar cap as baby bellas, which makes them meatier, and have a smokier flavor. They’d be great for grilling or pickled with rice wine vinegar, sugar, red onions and ginger.
